Bashar H. Malkawi is Professor of Law atHashemiteUniversitywhere he currently teaches international trade law, labor immigration, and free trade agreements. He received his S.J.D fromAmerican University,WashingtonCollege of Law, and LLM in International Trade Law fromUniversityofArizona. Prof. Malkawi previously taught at universities inJordan, UAE,Italy, andUnited States. He spent two years as Assistant Dean atHashemiteUniversity's Faculty of Economics.

 

Prof. Malkawi is a prolific scholar whose work covers a variety of subjects. He has written over 70 articles for law reviews and professional publications, which have appeared in such top-tier journals as Journal of World Trade, Harvard Negotiation Law Review, and American Journal of Comparative Law. In addition to articles and academic books, his op-eds and other writings have appeared in the popular press in the U.S. and the Middle East.
