Dr. Sharad Kumar Sharma holds a PhD degree in Demography. Dr. Sharma has more than 20 years of experience as a Demographer and Statistician in Reproductive Health program planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation in Nepal. He is currently working as Chief, Surveillance Planning Monitoring Evaluation and Research (SPMER) section Senior Demographer at National Tuberculosis Control Center under Department of Health Services. While working with the Government and Non-Government sector, he has carried out various primary and evaluation studies, particularly in the field of Population, Reproductive Health and Tuberculosis. Dr. Sharma has published papers in the national as well as international peer reviewed journals and he has presented several oral and poster presentations in international conferences.
