Professional Summary:

Hurricane-Ike Elizabeth Ogechi (Nee Njoku) was born on the Ist of November, 1985, in Ezekporoke, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. I had a Bsc (2nd Class upper) and Msc(67 B+ grade) in demography and Social Statistics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. I am skilled in both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques and analysis and vast in the use of micros-soft suites and analytical tools such as Stata, Epi-data, SPSS , Atlas ti and ODK data collection kit. I have a four peer-reviewed articles published in high- impact journals; presented a paper titled “Factors Associated with Teenage Pregnancy and Childbearing in Nigeria” in UAPS 2015. I have served as research assistant and Supervisor in local and national surveys sponsored by Bills and Melinda Gates, APHRC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Presidency Nigeria. I will be resuming for my PhD Programme in Demography and Social Statistics by May 2017 at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
