Professional Summary:
I am a trained demographer whose work focuses on social determinants of health, maternal and child health and gender. I have published several peer-reviewed articles in reputed journals on various issues related to maternal and child health, gender, ageing, nutrition. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Population Studies from International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, India. I have also completed the Master and M.Phil. degree in the same discipline and from the same Institute. Before joining the PhD. I was part of the “IIPS-Kusuma Foundation Research Fellowship Project”, where I headed the responsibility of collecting the teaching materials, preparing the teaching modules and preparing the project report.
