Professional Summary:

I am currently a Ph.D. student in Demography at the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, Thailand (2020-2023). I hold a Masters degree in Demography from University of Abuja, Nigeria, and bachelors degree in Sociology (B.Sc.) from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria. I started my academic career in 2015 as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Demography and Social Statistics, Federal University Birnin-Kebbi, and currently in the rank of Lecturer-I. I teach courses for undergraduates in areas of Social Demography, Substantive Demography, Research Design, Development Demography, Demography of Nigeria. My research interests include social demography; reproductive health; maternal health; population and development; and research methodology. I have attended and presented papers in conferences and has published articles in journals and book chapters. I have also co-authored a book.
