Prof. dr. Frank van Tubergen is Head of the Department of ‘Migration & Migrants’ at NIDI-KNAW and Professor at University of Groningen and Utrecht University. He coordinated the Children of Immigrants Longitudinal Study in Four European Countries (CILS4EU, 2010-2020), and the Online Survey of Ukrainians (OneUA, 2022) . Van Tubergen’s research has been published in journals such as American Sociological Review, European Sociological Review, American Journal of Sociology, and Demography. He is the author of “Introduction to Sociology” (Routledge, 2020). His research has been supported by grants from the Dutch National Science Foundation (Veni, Vidi, Gravitation) and the European Commission (Norface, Horizon2020). His papers won awards from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (Ammodo KNAW award), the German Sociological Association, IPUMS, the Dutch Sociological Association, and the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities. Van Tubergen is a member of the Editorial Board of European Sociological Review and an elected fellow of the European Academy of Sociology.
