Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Seeing Illegal Immigrants
The University of Edinburgh is advertising for two 18-month postdocs for a large ESRC-funded project on 'Seeing Illegal Immigrants', under the supervision of Christina Boswell and Emile Chabal. One of these positions will specifically look at the recent history and politics of illegal immigration in France.

The post will be based in the School of Social and Political Sciences, but historians with a knowledge of migration, illegal immigration and French politics in the post-1945 period are warmly encouraged to apply. Archival research is a key part of the project, along with interviews for the more recent period.
