IDMC invites you to its second interdisciplinary conference on internal displacement that will, once again, bring together insights from new research on human mobility, economics and sustainable development, with the experience of humanitarian and development practitioners, policy-makers and donors.
With a focus on solutions, the conference will explore new insights and successful approaches from development, disaster risk management, humanitarian action and peace-building for better understanding and addressing the risk and impacts of internal displacement. This year is an important milestone in progress reporting against the Sustainable Development Goals. Conference participants will reflect on how advances in data, analysis and science can better inform policy, and explore practical solutions together. Our agenda provides more detail.
