Ms. Pratima Yadav is Junior Consultant at Institute of Economic Growth (IEG). She is currently working at a project regarding Building Knowledge Base on Population Ageing in India and coming out with ageing report for 7 major of states in India. She has completed M.A. in Economics from Banaras Hindu University and M.Phil. degree from Business Economics Department, Delhi University. She also worked as a Consultant in Planning Commission, Government of India, in a project regarding "Eleventh Five Year Plan Mid Term Review.

Ms. Yadav's research interest lies primarily in Health and development economics. Her works specifically involve how poor health affects various economic and social development of the human. She examined how poor health affects the person labour market activity and its leads to the poverty in state of Uttar Pradesh in her M.Phil dissertation. She is also interested in issues like Ageing and Social Security and Health Financing.
