Samuel Olugbemisola W. had her first, second and third degrees in Demography and Social Statistics from Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. Her thesis was titled, “Proximate Determinants: The Pathways of Influence of Underlying Factors on Under-five Mortality in Nigeria”. She recently worked as a Senior Research Associate at the NOIPOLLS Limited, Maitama, Abuja. She is an alumna of the Young Scientists Summer Programme, Laxenburg, Austria. She has published peer reviewed papers and attended both local and international conferences. She has collaborations with the UN-Habitat, Nairobi, Kenya; International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA), Vienna and the Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital, Austria. Her research interests are in the areas of Maternal and child health, Family planning and Reproductive health, Energy and population development.
