Simon Gregson is professor of demography and behavioural science at Imperial College London. He is also director or the Manicaland Project, a longitudinal study that uses quantitative, qualitative and mathematical modelling methods to describe and interpret trends in the HIV epidemic in eastern Zimbabwe. His main research interests include the socio-demographic determinants and impact of HIV epidemics and scientific evaluation of the population impact of HIV control programmes.
