Dr. Barsharani Maharana

In a developing country like India, poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, caste and gender- discrimination are the primary obstacles to development. Witnessing these problems and understanding their improper management and flawed policy decisions, I was motivated to focus on interdisciplinary science of Population Studies. I have a mission to improve the living conditions and quality of life of the people of my country through imparting the knowledge that I have gained from higher education and research.
