Professional Summary:

Md. Selim Reja is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography at the University B.T. & Evening College, West Bengal. He did an M.A. at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is keenly interested in population studies research, specifically on internal migration in India. He published many research papers in national and international journals and chapters in edited books with reputed publishing houses. He has been awarded two research projects as a principal project director by the Indian Council for Social Science Research, New Delhi.
