I am Govinda Prasad Adhikari, a lecturer in population studies at Padmakanya Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I have spent over a decade teaching and researching population-related sectors, including labor migration, social development, and child welfare. I have completed my Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) Degree in Population Studies from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
Currently, I am teaching demographic research methodology at the master's level at Padmakanya Multiple Campus. Besides teaching, I have been involved in various academic research and publications in population studies and social development. I am involved in professional organizations like a lifetime member of the Population Association Nepal (PAN), a member of the Asian Population Association (APA), and a member of the International Union for Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP). I have attended some national as well as international conferences on population and development and am going to present a poster paper at IPC 2025, held in Brisbane, Australia, from July 13 to 18, 2025.
