Regional population diversity and social cohesion in the local context

How do decision-makers and communities perceive the changes in Europe’s population composition?

We would be delighted to welcome you to our next online-workshop:

Breaking the vicious cycle? Depopulation and provision of public services

When: Tuesday, 24 January 2023, from 2 to 4 PM CET
Where: Online, Zoom

We invite prominent experts from science, policy and civil society to discuss place-based solutions and digital tools to provide services and maintain infrastructure in depopulating regions. How can we boost administrative collaboration at the local level? Are digital tools a reliable instrument to improve the quality of life in shrinking regions?

In each panel, eminent experts will present key issues and examples from different European regions via short contributions to discussions (5-7 min). Following the presentations, the workshop participants will have the chance to exchange knowledge and experience from their professional areas and regions. You can find the program and the list of experts by clicking here.

The number of participants will be limited to 30, so we recommend you register early.
