In 2020, the Generations and Gender Programme will launch a new round of data collection. This will build on previous successful rounds of data collection but will also incorporate new technologies and significant efficiencies to ensure that we can collect high quality data to support scientific research and evidence-based policy making. The GGP has gathered data from over 20 countries from all over the globe. In this new round of data collection, we hope to build on this success by reaching more countries than ever before. This webinar details how we intend to do this and how you can get involved.

If you are interested in learning more about the GGP and how to possibly go about fielding the GGP in your country, we invite you to discuss this topic and related questions with Anne Gauthier (GGP Director), Tom Emery (GGP Project Manager) and Susana Cabaço (GGP Researcher) in a Population Europe webinar, Wednesday, May 16, 3pm (Berlin time).

In this webinar we will provide you with all the information you need to take the first steps to launching the GGP in your country. This includes an overview of the aims of the new round of data collection and its scientific grounding, detailed plans for fieldwork in 2020 and how they can be adapted to your countries context and a clear and manageable set of steps that we jointly make to bring the GGP to your country. Participation in the webinar is, of course, free and there will be plenty of time and opportunities to ask questions.
