Dr. Ashton Verdery, Ph.D., is a Professor of Sociology, Demography, and Social Data Analytics at the Pennsylvania State University, where he is also a Co-Hire of the Institute for Computational and Data Sciences, the Director of the Population Aging Research Center, and the Associate Director of the Population Research Institute. His research examines how demographic change intersects with changes in families and social networks to impact health and well-being.
