Professional Summary:

Prashant Verma is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Statistics, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. His research interests are in the areas of Population Mathematics, Demography and Reproductive Health. He has qualified for the Junior Research Fellow and  Basic Scientific Research Fellow in 2013, sponsored by University Grant Commission. He has corporate experience of 20 months as Business Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore India. He has received a certificate of appreciation from 2015 ICFP Organizing team, Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, for serving as an abstract reviewer. He has presented research articles at five international conferences including 7th African Population Conference, Johannesburg, South Africa–2015 and 2nd International Conference on Theory and Application of Statistics at Dhaka University, Bangladesh. Besides it, he has attended 11 national conferences, seminar and workshops.
