WHO is forming a new expert review group (MONITOR) for Mother and Newborn Information for Tracking Outcomes and Results. WHO is seeking nominations for this independent expert review group, whose first meeting will to take place 8-9 November 2016 (in person attendance is mandatory).

IIASA and Joint Research Centres (JRC) of the European Commission - Five Researchers in Demographic Modeling and Migration (preferably at post-doc level)

IIASA and the Joint Research Centres (JRC) of the European Commission have formed a partnership to establish a joint “Centre of Expertise on Population and Migration” to assess the implications of different migration scenarios on future population ageing in Europe, in a multi-dimensional way with a focus on age, gender, education and labor force participation. The Centre will also focus on scenarios (demographic, economic and environmental) for potential sending countries in Africa and Western Asia. The Centre will be lead jointly by Wolfgang Lutz (IIASA) and Delilah Al Khudhairy (EC-JRC).
