Online Laureate ceremony in honour of Jane Bertrand

The online event will be chaired by IUSSP President Laura Wong, and will include a number of speakers who will address various aspects of Jane Bertrand’s career and achievements. In addition to the presentations, there will be an opportunity for members of the audience to say a few words at the end of the ceremony. The Council selected Jane Bertrand as the 2026 IUSSP Laureate in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the advancement of population sciences and distinguished services rendered to the population community.
