Two openings for tenure-track Assistant Professors in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Society at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Position 1: GISc. We seek a Geographic Information Scientist who contributes to traditional departmental strengths in geovisualization and cartography, spatial analysis and modeling, and/or GIS and society. Desirable are secondary research interests in computation on large datasets or examining population and/or health issues via spatial science approaches. We start review of files on October 9, 2015. Position 2: Health & Population. We are conducting a joint search with the Department of Sociology for a position in Health & Population.
