Statistics Korea launched the 1st KOSTAT Summer Seminar on Population successfully in 2014 and the 2nd KOSTAT Summer Seminar on Population will be held this year. The Summer Seminar on Population will serve as a forum for individuals and institutions concerned with population-related issues. It will contribute to the sharing of knowledge and experience regarding demographic situations in Asia Pacific countries and around the world.

The 2nd Summer Seminar on Population will consist of four consecutive and independent workshops. The workshops are expected to provide an opportunity for experts on demography and government officials in charge of population censuses and statistics in the Asia Pacific region to be able to promote new methods for producing and analyzing population statistics and demography. Participants are encouraged to select one or more workshops among the four options. The working language of the workshops will be either English or Korean.
