Best Poster Awards - IPC2025

Brisbane, Australia, 13-18 July 2025

 

There were 4 poster sessions at IPC2025, one each of the first 4 days of the conference. Each poster session included about 50 posters. Every day a different jury composed of 5 or 6 IUSSP members and headed by a Council member selected one "Best Poster" of the day. The entire process was designed and overseen by IUSSP Council member Shelley Clark. 

 

Judging Criteria

Posters were judged on both content and style, including the importance and innovation of the research questions, visual appeal, organization, and effective written and oral communication of study and findings.

 

The main criteria included:

  • Importance and originality of objectives
  • Clarity of objectives/research questions
  • Theoretical and technical quality of the methods used
  • Results are well presented and insightful
  • Overall contribution of the research
  • Visual appeal and effectiveness of the poster. Does the poster effectively provide a narrative? Is the presentation organized, does it flow logically and is it easy to understand?
  • Quality of explanation of the poster by the presenter (optional)
