Professional Summary:

I was born in Nigeria and schooled in Nigeria and the USA. My professional experience has spaned a period of 40 years, since 1974, working in the academia in tertiary institutions in Nigeria, USA and Ghana. I also worked as a Senior Programme Officer and Head of Pulications  and Communications at the Coincil for the Development of Social and Economic Research in Africa, Dakar, Senegal from November 2000 to March 2003. Currently I am working as a Professor of Demography in the Department of Sociology, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria
