Professional Summary:

Elizabeth is a Population Scientist, Researcher, Evaluator and Special Research Fellow at the University of Zambia. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand under the Department of Demography and Population Studies.


She contributes to teaching, research, writing, resource mobilisation and community service. She has expertise in M&E, research, data science and project implementation and management. She possesses excellent writing and analytical skills, in addition to experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

 

 

 She supports efforts to strengthen capacity to address current and emerging population issues as well as integrating population issues into the development agenda.

 

Her focus areas of research and evaluation include Maternal, new-born, child and adolescent health and nutrition, HIV, fertility and well-being, migration and mobility, population and environment, education and empowerment of women and girls.  She contributes to writing through reports, books, and technical papers on population issues and peer-reviews papers for scientific publications.
