Professional Summary:

I am Nwabisa Mona. I currently hold a Bachelors's Degree in Community and Development Studies and a Masters's in Population Studies,  I majored in Population Studies and Demography from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently enrolled in a PhD programme at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, PhD in Medicine with a specialization in Public Health Medicine. 

 

Honorary or professional positions and awards:
 
In 2019 I was awarded 3rd prize of top 5 best oral presenter award at the Population Association of Southern Africa Conference. In 2019 I was invited to present my academic paper at an international conference of African Population Conference in Entebbe, Uganda.
Research grants:
I am currently an NRF Doctoral Scholarship (Ph.D.) grant holder at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
