Postdoctoral researcher - A world male fertility database
The project
The project aims at creating a database on male fertility around the world and over time. The database will use existing data from surveys, censuses, and CRVS to compute indicators of male fertility (e.g. age-specific fertility rates, age at first birth, childlessness) in as many countries as possible and over long periods of time (past and future). The data will be made available with interactive data visualisation tools (e.g. Shiny application), and will be used for comparative research on male fertility.
