The Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, Population Reference Bureau, and the Population and Poverty Research Network are pleased to announce the ICFP Pre-conference Workshop on the Demographic Dividend. The workshop will tackle the opportunities and challenges related to achieving the demographic dividend, especially in countries throughout sub-Saharan Africa, and will equip attendees with information and skills to contribute to moving the demographic dividend agenda forward.   • Assess the contribution of women to harnessing the demographic dividend;
  • Implement demographic dividend-related development strategies at the country level; and
  • Communicate research on the demographic dividend to non-technical audiences.
