Subnational Probabilistic Population Projections

Description: A short course on "Subnational Probabilistic Population Projections,” sponsored by the IUSSP, the University of Washington, UNFPA and NICHD, will be given just before the International Population Conference. It will give an overview of the theory and practice of the subject, including practical computer demos. The instructors are Adrian Raftery and Hana Ševčíková of the University of Washington. It will run for 6 hours online - three hours on each of December 3 and 4, just before the IPC.  It will be given synchronously on Zoom.

- Basic knowledge of introductory demography 

- Working Knowledge of R
