IUSSP Early Career Taskforce
Involving new generations of population experts in IUSSP
A new Early Career Taskforce has been set up by the Council in an effort to boost the inputs of young, early career population experts from various disciplinary backgrounds in the activities of the Union. Its ultimate aim is to actively engage new generations of population experts in the work of IUSSP. The taskforce was especially invited to propose activities for the 2021 IUSSP International Population Conference.

Activities:
In addition to the virtual preconference activities listed below, which the Taskforce organized before the 2021 International Population Conference (IPC2021), members of the Taskforce were also involved and provided inputs in the IUSSP Anti-Harassment and Code of Conduct Policy. Jointly with other colleagues, they also participated in the production of an IUSSP video ("When Demographers Unite"), promoting population science and the activities of the IUSSP.
