IUSSP Project on Urban Family Planning

 

Fellowships for Early-Career African/South Asian Researchers.

 

For those who missed the first call for applications (see below) or did not have time to apply, there will be a second call for fellows for 2020-2021 fellowships to be announced in December 2018. This second call will request a two-page concept note due 15 April 2019. The full application will be due 1 July 2019.

Call for research fellow proposals - round 1


In response to the first Call for Proposals for 1 to 3-year research projects on family planning and fertility change in urban areas of sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the IUSSP received 51 complete fellowship applications from eligible researchers. Eleven applicants were selected and invited to present their projects during a workshop organized in Kigali, Rwanda 8-9 November 2018.
