Professional Summary:

I have been working with Population Council for more than six years initially as Senior Research Officer, and now as Assistant Program Officer. Before joining Population Council, I worked with an NGO, known as Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) for nine years in different portfolios like, Associate Program Officer, Documentation Officer and MIS Officer. I am having two masters, one in Sociology and another in Population Sciences from the University of Dhaka. At present I have enrolled myself for doing PhD on ‘Demographic Dividend’.

 

Being a Researcher, I am engaged in developing research instruments, devising methodologies, coordinating field activities, monitoring and supervising the data collection process, data analysis and management and writing reports.

So far, I have published seven articles in peer reviewed journals and several research reports. Among the issues of researches, fertility, mortality, nuptiality, sexual & reproductive health, etc. are the areas of my interests in research.
