Varsha Pandurang Nagargoje graduated from Pune University, India, with a Master's degree in Geography. Later on, she accomplished her Mater of Population Studies and Master of Philosophy from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), India. She worked her way up through various roles in large-scale projects like Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI), Swabhimaan Project, and PMMVY. She gained three and half years of research work experience. Her research areas are mainly population aging and gender development. She has completed her PhD from IIPS, Mumbai in2024. She has published research papers in reputed journals.
Her ultimate goal is to become an expert in the social science field, contributing to societal development through informed policy decisions and future teaching endeavors in academia.
