Terms of Reference: 

This Scientific Panel continues the work of its predecessors, the IUSSP Panel on Abortion Research (2011-2018) and the IUSSP Panel on Abortion (2006-2010).

 

The Panel plans to organize seminars on the following topics:

  • Unintended pregnancy and key outcomes: abortion and unplanned births;
  • Safety of abortion and abortion-related morbidity;
  • Estimation of abortion incidence.
