Gilbert HABAASA is currently a Senior researcher at Population and Development Consult in Kampala City, Uganda. He previously served as IUSSP-CRVS Fellow(2019-2022), CRVS National Consultant for National CRVS Strategy for Uganda (2020-2021) and CRVS Fellow at the CRVS Secretariat/Demographic and Social Statistics Section of African Centre for Statistics, UNECA(2013-2015). He did Master of Science in Population Studies at Makerere University. He has published widely on CRVS and other social-economic aspects.
